Bitget Login — Official Guide
This page documents Bitget Login procedures: signing in, available authentication methods, recovery options and security best practices required for account access.
Overview of Bitget Login
Bitget Login enables registered users to access their exchange accounts using verified email addresses, mobile numbers, or supported third-party sign-in methods. The platform supports multiple authentication mechanisms and additional security layers that are configurable from the Account > Security area.
Standard Bitget Login: Email / Mobile and Password
To complete a standard Bitget Login, navigate to the official Bitget sign-in page, enter your registered email address or mobile number, then input your password. If you enabled 2FA, you will be prompted for the secondary verification code during the Bitget Login flow.
QR Code Login for Faster Access
Bitget Login supports QR code authentication for the web: generate a time-sensitive QR code on the website and scan it with the official Bitget mobile app to authorize a web session. QR codes expire quickly for security; refresh if necessary. QR login removes the need to enter credentials manually on the web device.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Passkey Options
For any Bitget Login, enabling two-factor authentication is strongly recommended. Bitget supports Google Authenticator (TOTP), SMS verification, and Passkey options. Configure 2FA from Security settings to require the second factor at each Bitget Login and for sensitive account operations.
- Google Authenticator (TOTP) — recommended for robust offline 2FA.
- Passkey — platform-supported passwordless option where available.
- SMS — convenient but has higher risk (SIM swap); use alongside other methods if chosen.
Password Reset and Account Recovery
If you cannot sign in during Bitget Login, use the "Forgot password" link on the login page to initiate a password reset. Bitget will verify ownership by sending a one-time verification code to the registered email or phone number. If you have lost access to 2FA devices, follow Bitget’s account recovery process which may require identity verification and the self-service recovery portal.
Security Best Practices for Bitget Login
To secure Bitget Login and your assets: enable multiple 2FA methods, use a unique strong password, keep recovery codes in a secure offline place, verify the domain before entering credentials, and avoid public or shared devices for Bitget Login. Regularly review account activity via the security dashboard.
